Contest will be staged in the frequent 426 Broadway St. in Marine City. There's a short online registration form to fill out, plus a $20 entry fee. The

winner wins the entire pot.

There will be two mandatory weigh-ins; the first weigh-in is Sept. 1 at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The ultimate 3x slimming power walk-on-the-scale is Dec. 31 at 10 a.m., or 2

p.m., so that judges can figure how much unwanted excess fat was shed.

You will see optional bi-weekly weigh-ins, said White, for entrants who want to gauge how they are doing through the competition. The winner will have lost

the biggest percentage of fat, to make it a good fight, she said.

White provides a Biggest Loser Facebook page for entrants to post their daily struggles and victories and thus that people will find others near by to assist

motivate them, she said.

She even includes a separate link for Algonac, St. Clair and Marine City/Cottrellville Township; so people who live near to one another can set up group

workouts, walks or any other fitness ideas.

"It is really a competition but we're encouraging support from everyone to everyone," she said. "We really want this not only to be considered a weightloss

routine, but a residential area building program."

She'd 36 people registered by Aug. 15. The contest is available to anyone, anywhere, as long as they register, pay lishou fuling jiaonang the $20 entry fee and come for the

mandatory weigh-ins. All ages are welcome, but a parent must sign for minors.

Cheryl Koehn is signed up and, based on her post on the Techno Cure Biggest Loser Facebook page, she is "feeling positive and inspired knowing you will find

36 of us going after a typical goal."

Shelby Stance, of Casco Township, posted that she can also be excited about getting support, as well as supporting others.
